Roof space is free to sign up. If you send items we do charge a small service fee on each transaction. There is a 23% service fee which includes our safe secure payment processing fee on every transaction.

You will not be charged a service fee to transport items.

When the sender confirms a Roof Space driver’s offer. They will pay the transport fee to Roof Space.

Roof Space holds the money and will release the money once the sender confirms the item has been delivered. Payment will go directly to the Roof Space driver’s bank account.

You can save the region(s) that you would like to be notified via email when new listings are listed.

There are two options; First you'll need to be logged in save region(s).

1. If you would like to be notified for every new listing heading from a region(s) you would enter the region(s) 'travelling from' and 'save these region(s)'.

2. For a more constraint notification you can be notified when new listings match your specific journey 'traveling from' and 'traveling to'. For example below I have saved travelling from BOP, Waikato and travelling to West coast, Canterbury.

By clicking manage regions you can minus the saved regions per filter until there are no saved search regions to not be notified anymore.

Our app is secured with 256 encryption making it the strongest encryption standard.

To give you a better picture of how our platform handles images, we host all of our images on Amazon AWS which is a cloud storage platform and is common practice for apps to use this service to host images and other files.

App admins use multi-factor authentication and automatic logouts to help prevent unauthorised access.

Roof Space covers your item (Market Value) for theft or damage during transit, up to a maximum of $3,000 or repair of the item whichever is the least. The guarantee will only cover items that have been listed through our website and transported by a verified driver.
